Travel Grants
The IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Travel Grants Program offers a very limited number of travel grants to assist IEEE CIS student members and members from developing countries for presenting papers at IEEE CIS-sponsored conference. The applications must have both IEEE and IEEE CIS memberships. Past history of the IEEE CIS travel grants, as well as more information, can be viewed at the travel grants webpage <>.

To apply for the support one must first register in the Grant Application System at Submissions are to be entered into the Grant Application system. Paper and email applications will not be accepted. Please note the following date for submission, review, and notification of travel grants:

-- Submission of applications: March 18, 2011 ~ April 28, 2011
-- Review of applications: April 29, 2011 ~ May 9, 2011
-- Notification of acceptance: May 10, 2011

Only complete applications from eligible student members and members will be accepted. Please, note that there is no need to send proof of IEEE and IEEE CIS membership as membership will be verified through the IEEE member databases.

The student applicants will be required to present proof of university attendance documentation at the conference (this is not a student card; please see the website for details).

Best Student Paper Award
FUZZ-IEEE 2011 will have best student paper competition and best student paper will be awarded. Every student author will have an opportunity to compete for this award -- the competition is open to all student authors whether or not they are IEEE/CIS student members. However, the first author of the paper should be a student and present his/her own paper at the FUZZ-IEEE 2011. Certificate will be conferred at the Conference Banquet. The winners will be chosen by a committee of experts.
